So much for writing that I was not going to purchase another foundation until I finished the Estee Lauder compact. I swear, as soon as I wrote the words, I already KNEW that I was going to immediately buy another foundation. How totally weak am I?? And once I found out I had a $70 credit at one of my favourite stores… Well… my fate was sealed:( I absolutely adore getting boxes in the mail full of beauty products. It’s like Christmas!

I bought the one foundation I totally love without reserve and lust over – Chanel Perfection Lumiere #94. You don’t understand how much I love this. I’ve already cracked it open and used it on a date night 2 weeks ago- it just makes me look so flawless. But I’ve put it away again so I can keep plugging away at the Estee Lauder compact.
I also added another product that I’ve always wanted but didn’t want to spend at that price point. But I’ve tried so many others recently, and decided to stop wasting my money on the stuff that wasn’t working and go for the big guns – Chanel Demaquillant Yeux Intense Eye Makeup Remover.

Last, but not least, I bought one of those red lipsticks that is just so perfect for me that I’m actually afraid to use it. POW! Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Intense in #99 Pirate. I took some pics before I used it, then immediately used it without looking at the pictures. Which were crappy. So there, sue me, I committed the cardinal blogging sin of taking pics AFTER I used something. If you want photos of it brand new… look here

I have a swatch in bright light to show this colour on my NW43 skin. Then I have a lip (and nose shot!). Unfortunately, the latter with my iPhone so it’s not the best but I think it gives a good representation.
