September and October were busy shopping months for me. I shopped like a mad-woman in preparation for my trip to Botswana as my family always have multiple requests, plus I want to take them gifts, etc. Then I shopped on my return as I was trying to put myself on a ban and I wanted one last binge. So far, total fail on the ban as the binge is still ongoing. And I’m planning on doing real damage at the Sephora VIB sale, tsk, tsk.
|The whole kit & caboodle|
Some of the following are currently in rotation, but I have yet to open most of the make-up so reviews will be forthcoming.
Boscia Oil-free Daily Hydration SPF 15 (sample)
Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser
I used to love this, bouht it again after I saw it here, reminded me how much I used to like it.
Hado Labo Tokyo Super Hydrating Day Lotion SPF 18
I read about this on musingsofamuse.com and bought it on a whim during the most recent 20%off at Ulta. I hope I like it.
L’Occitane 20% Shea Butter Hand Cream
A true staple, I’ve been buying this for years and will continue to do so.
Philosophy Eye Hope eye cream (sample)
Pre de Provence 20% Shea Butter Soap
Pre de Provence 20% Shea Butter Hand Lotion
Not quite as good as the L’Occitane, but a great slightly cheaper substitute.
Sephora Waterproof Makeup Remover
Ulta Brush & Sponge Cleaner
This is great! My brushes actually return to white instead of staying clogged with make-up. This is so much better than the Sephora brush cleaner. As you can see, I’ve already dug into it. Will definitely repurchase.
Ecotools custom coverage buffing
Guerlain Meterorites Perles #03 Teint Dore
I was warned the fragrance was strong… but I wasn’t fully prepared for the full on “scent”. Thankfully, it doesn’t linger. The powder is so subtle, I don’t know if it’s doing anything. Will have to use a few more times before I can really form an opinion.
NYX Mosaic Powder #10 Love
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil #604 Milk
Lancome Teint Visionairre #500 Suede
I just realized that I haven’t posted a beauty pick-ups post in quite some time, I really am trying to be good. These are some of my favourite types of blog posts to read, I like peeking into other people’s shopping bags.
What about you, what have you picked up lately? Are you loving it?
Thanks for stopping by, and stay blessed.
