March Beauty Favourites 2014

*All products purchased with my own money.

hi Ladies!

LoracPRO Palette, NYX, Caudalie Divine Oil, YSL Volupte Gloss, La Mer and Christian Dior foundation brush
Just wanted to share my March favourites.  I don’t buy a lot of new products so writing a monthly favourites post would be a total waste, and a bore, since my products are fairly static.  But I think I bought enough new, and have some old, products that worked well for me last month and I wanted to share.

LoracPRO Palette, NYX, Caudalie Divine Oil, YSL Volupte Gloss, La Mer and Christian Dior foundation brush
LoracPro Palette – total heaven.  There’s nothing new I can add to the blogosphere about this, but believe the hype, it really is great.  Very soft and buttery, and sticks well.  Not too much fall-out, which I hate.  I really like this because I can use it to look professional, but I also had a lot of fun with it in Las Vegas recently creating vampy looks.  The only problem is that it doesn’t travel well, the compact is not secure at all.
NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in Dark Brown/Brown – I bought this before in a different shade that wasn’t quite right.  I’m so much happier now that they have come out with these new, more skin friendly shades.  I really like it, but it’s not as convenient as using an eyebrow pencil like Spike by MAC.  This looks more natural though, so I will continue to use it when I have time.
YSL Gloss Volupte in Fauve 208
YSL Gloss Volupte in Fauve 208- I’m not too sure about the new brush on this one, but I really do like it.  I’ve always had a thing for the YSL lipglosses, they feel really good on the lips.  Plus it’s highly moisturizing, and reapplication is too cool.  You try  whipping this sucker out in its amazing case and boom.  Trust.  This one is love.
Caudalie Huile Divine
Caudalie Divine Oil – the scent…. the scent.  Heaven. I bought the small size which comes with a the hand lotion (which I’m not too sure about that one).  But this little oil goes on with out feeling greasy and blends right in.  Helps keep my dry skin moisturized.
Dior Foundation Brush
Dior Foundation Brush – this is the BEST foundation brush I have ever tried.  To be honest, I’ve only tried like2-3 other foundation brushes so not much to compare to, but as much as I like the others… this is the best.  It’s so dense and soft, those brushes are packed in tight.  And it doesn’t leave those stupid brush marks that you can sometimes see on your face.  Plus I don’t have to buff for hours to get that airbrushed look.  Worth every penny.

La Mer The Powder
La Mer Powder – I got a very generous sample during a recent beauty event at Neiman Marcus.  This is so finely milled.  I was nervous about the colour, but it completely disappears into my skin and makes me look GOOD!  I only have a couple of powders that I use, but this one has totally become the favourite.  I cannot wait to purchase the full size version.  I believe that this is the beige colour, but I think I will purchase the translucent version.
LoracPRO Palette, NYX, Caudalie Divine Oil, YSL Volupte Gloss, La Mer and Christian Dior foundation brush
Chanel Le Volume Mascara – my holy grail mascara.  oh gosh.  I love this, this is probably my 3rd tube since and there will be more.  It looks even better when I use an eyelash curler first.  Unfortunately, I totally forgot to photograph it, but I still wanted to mention it.
Well that’s it.  My first Favourites post.  I hope you enjoyed it, that you find something here that you can buy if you have been debating a product.
I’m toying with the crazy idea of starting a YouTube channel.  Crazy right.
Thanks for stopping by; and stay blessed.
