I can’t believe how many empties I have this month considering that it wasn’t that long ago that I posted a massive spring empties post! What is going on here at ahhhsoneo.com?
Purging, tossing stuff, using it all up. Just trying to clear up my life and my stuff. Also set up a new organizational set-up in my bathroom vanity that let me see everything that I have. So while some products are truly empty, others are simply, again, being tossed for lack of use.
Even though I did a recent purge, I was surprised to find more products that I have had for probably over 5 years. Mainly hair products. I went through a serious hair product junkie phase. I’m still recovering.
I didn’t notice much of a difference with the Mixed Chicks conditioner. I used it for deep conditioning, and I guess it did its job, but not enough for me to repurchase. I much prefer my Hairveda conditioner.
As for the Gleau Nourishing Argan Oil, that I found here, this is a really great product. My friend Nadege sells it and it left my hair really soft. I also used it on my body and it would sink right in without leaving me greasy.
I have a brief review of the SK-II mask here, I absolutely loved it! I’m waiting for the next VIB sale at Sephora to stock up, as at $17 a sheet, its pricey. I didn’t notice much of a different with the Trish McEvoy mask, but I don’t know how long I had it for so it might have just been old. I liked the First Aid Beauty Cleanser and I’ve put it on my wishlist.
So, can I just be honest and just say how much I hated the Covergirl Clump Crusher mascara, this did nothing for me. Eyelash primer, curler, tons of the stuff and nope, still look like I have no eyelashes. And I’m mad because I somehow had two of these. ughhhh.
My daughter had her little friends over and they decided to use the sunscreen as hair spray. They used the whole can. Brand new can…5year olds!!!
The Cetaphil Lotion also did absolutely nothing for me. Left me completely ashy. Was so disappointed as people always say this is the best moisturizer… NOT. If you are a dry gal, skip this one. I enjoyed using the Tea Tree Foot scrub. If my legs are scaly, my feet are worse! But this helped get some of the dry skin off, plus I would use it on other body parts. I won’t repurchase, but worth considering.
I’m on my third jar of the Reviva Labs Sun Protective Moisturizer with SPF 25. It feels moisturizing and doesn’t leave me greasy. And the SPF doesn’t leave a white cast on it. This is a pretty simple moisturizer, and it doesn’t have all the high tech gadgets, but if you need something simple and to the point, this is a great choice.
I don’t know why I bought the Simple facial cleansers again. I didn’t like them the first time around and I didn’t like them this time either. I need 2-3 to get the make up off, even after my oil cleansing. Then I felt they left a bit of a residue. I also finished my favourite GlamGlow Youth Mud mask, the exfoliating one that stings a little bit. I’m not sure what some of the muddy bits are inside, but all in all I really like it. Better than the one in the blue one. I might repurchase it, I felt it really did make my skin clear and tight.
I hope you enjoyed these mini-reviews. Again, I need to go back to writing these up monthly, its’ amazing how many products i go through every month. Not so much make-up but definitely I try to get through the skincare products. What about you, what did you finish up this month? Would love to see, please link your blogs/videos below so I can take a look!
Thanks for stopping by and stay blessed!
