Hi folks, why don’t we start off the new year by wishing you all a wonderful 2016. I’m so excited for this year – I have so many new things I plan on sharing here and on my YouTube channel with everyone.
But first, lets start off the New Year by reviewing what we loved about last year. I believe that the first step in any journey is gratitude and I’m grateful for the following, in no particular order. Please click on the links for full reviews or links to my video reviews. Plus I’ve also joined the link-up party at bloggerbabes.
SKII Facial Treatment Essence – I bought this on sale and let me tell you, I would pay for full price for this. My skin has been so clear since I added this to my rotation.
Bioderma Micellar Cleansing Water – I admit I’ve been flirting with the Garnier version, but this still has my heart. Thank goodness they are both such large bottles that I wont need to repurchase for quite some time.
Tatcha Cleansing Oil – where has this product been all my life? Makes washing off make-up a breeze!
Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask – the next best thing to getting a real facial at a spa. It’s so tingly when I first put it on, and the effect is immediate upon washing it off. My skin is clearer but not stripped. Love it!
Chikuhudo GSN 1 Powder brush – more from this brand on the way soon… so very soft. Worth every penny.
Wayne Goss Foundation brush – the best part about this is how it doesn’t leave your face streaky. Especially with those long bristles. But it is so, oh so soft, and absolutely no shedding!
Chanel Joues Constraste Blush in Alezane – Chanel does it again. I may not buy a lot of make-up these days but this gives just the right amount of colour and a beautiful glow.
Chanel Coco Rouge Shine in Melancolie – I think I’ve used 25% off this already. One of those perfect nudes that also leave my lips super moisturized. If you can still find it then please pick it up!
Cover FX Total Cover Cream Foundation – my dry skin winter bestie. I love cream foundation and I love the Cover Fx colour/shade range.
NARS Luminous Weightless Foundation – just remember to thoroughly shake the bottle before use and you will love this as much as I do.
Chanel Les Beiges in #50 – I think the size of that pan should tell you all you need to know about my love affair with this powder.
Colourpop Supershock Cheek in Highly Waisted – for so long I’ve been obsessed with my Estee Lauder Shimmering Sands highlighter. But this… well. Delicious.
Vegas Nay for Too Faced Stardust Palette – I was so close to swearing off eyeshadows and this palette brought me back to life!
Christian Louboutin Satin Matte in Djalouzie – why God, why did I fall in love with a $90 lipstick? I want more. So matte yet doesn’t leave my lips dry and cracked.
Too Faced Frozen Hot Chocolate Melted Liquid Lipstick– I’m not even going to lie, nowhere near the luxury of the Louboutin matte lippie… but a girl must respect her wallet. I don’t like the fragrance but this is my exact nude.
Tom Ford Eye Color Duo in Raw Jade – love the colour and the formula. Just don’t have the opportunity to regularly wear green eyeshadow:(
YSL Rouge Volupte Shine #7 – always in my make-up bag. My favourite on non-makeup days. Which are probably 70% of my days. Love this formula.
Maybelline Colorsensational in #955 Espresso Exposed – my other daytime look. This, eyeliner, mascara and I am good to go.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I can’t wait to see what 2016 has in store for both of us. I have so many goals that I am working on personally and professionally. I hope you do too. Remember to write them down and pray about them, the Universe is listening. Manifest out of love, it’s much more powerful than fear.
